Council Meetings

The Meacham Village council meets monthly. Meeting dates are posted both here and at the Village Office. Meetings are open to the public to observe. Villagers wishing to speak on any issue can obtain a delegate form HERE; which must be printed, filled out, and delivered to the village office by either the Tuesday or Thursday before the meeting. Villagers can then appear in-person to have their concerns heard.

Property Taxes

Property taxes are due by December 31st. Property tax assessments are sent out in April and there is a discount of up to 4% for early payment! Payment can be made in two ways. Payments accepted are cash in-person during normal Village office hours, cheque, e-transfer to admin@meacham.ca, or through an Affinity Credit Union account using Village Of Meacham as payee. Your account ID is the first four letters of your last name, the first three letters of your first name, and the letter T. Example: John Smith = SMITJOHT

Water Bills

Water bills for the village are generated quarterly. Payment is due within 28 days. The base charge includes four thousand gallons per quarter. Any usage over and above is billed by the thousand gallons, or portion thereof, usage at time of reporting. Payments accepted are cash in-person during normal Village office hours, cheque, e-transfer to admin@meacham.ca, or though an Affinity Credit Union account using Village Of Meacham as payee. Your account ID is the first four letters of your last name, the first three letters of your first name, and the letter U. Example: John Smith = SMITJOHU
