History of Meacham
The village of Meacham was incorporated in 1912.
At that time there was a train station, grain elevators, an agricultural based economy and a population of approximately 100 people.
Over the decades, the village has experienced expansion to approximately 400 people and is now 96 and growing.
The population is typical of rural Saskatchewan in nature. The diversity of business ventures and the stability and commitment of the business community is a great stabilizing factor for Meacham.
